November
13th – 17th
Because of our WACKY days NEXT week, we will need
parent volunteers. Please check with your child’s teacher for exact times.
Thank you in advance.
Here’s what’s coming up for next week…
·
Every day next week
is a minimum day for the WHOLE school in order to accommodate parent
conferences. *ALL
Kinder kids come to school together from 8:15-11:35a.m all week long.
Dismissal every day will be crazy….please stay in your
car if you are in the yellow loading zone. If you need to get out of your car,
you need to park in the parking lot or on a neighboring street and walk in. Mrs.
Barron and Mrs. Ron will dismiss students from the Kinder Playground Gate.
Mrs. Barnes and Ms. Davila will dismiss from the front Kinder Classroom
Door.
·
We look forward to meeting you all next week for
your parent/teacher conference. Your
child IS encouraged to attend their student-led conference. This is a great way to involve your child in
his/her own education.
·
PLEASE make sure that you are signed up for a
parent conference time through your teacher’s SignUp Genius. This is our ONLY sign up, so please make
sure you are on it! Please be on time, conferences are only 15 minutes.
·
“A can a kid that’s all we ask.”
Please donate canned or boxed food towards our food drive. It ends next week on
November 17th. The food collected will be used to help families and
kids in our community (David Weir Elementary/Mission Solano).
·
Please help your child be successful in school by
attending regularly and on time.
·
Holiday Tree Donations—Thank
you for all of your classroom donations!
We hope to raise lots of money for our kiddos at the Holiday Fair on
Saturday, December 2nd from 10am-1pm.
Kindergarteners are encouraged to come and perform on stage the
holiday songs they learned at 10:30a.m. Santa will be there!
·
Our theme next week is THANKSGIVING,
and our new word wall word is “am.” We
know the following High Frequency Words: I, a, like, the, see, is,
can, my, and, have, go, to, has, you & am.
Please encourage your child to use these words in their writing every
day!
Thank you again for all that you do at home to
support your child’s learning. We
appreciate all that you do! Please feel
free to email with any concerns or questions!
Thank you!!
