November
12th – 14th
Happy SHORT week everyone!
Here’s what’s coming up for this week…
·
Nov. 17th – 21st are minimum days for the WHOLE school in
order to accommodate parent conferences.
*ALL Kinder kids come to school together from 8:15-11:35am all week
long. Dismissal every day will be just like
Wednesdays.
·
Your child IS encouraged to attend their
student-led conference. This is a great
way to involve your child in his/her own education.
·
PLEASE make sure that you are signed up for a
parent conference time through sign-up genius on YOUR teacher's sign up ONLY. Ms. Davila's invite was sent out to every Kindergarten family by mistake, so if she is not your child's teacher, please disregard her invite.
·
Mrs. Ron’s class will NOT be having parent
conferences at this time. They will
occur upon Mrs. Ron’s return in January.
·
Mrs. Ron’s parent volunteers are now collecting
donations for a “Get Well” basket for her.
They are collecting things such as fuzzy socks, lotions, hand
sanitizers, magazines, Chapstick, get well cards & wishes, and other
“relaxing” items to wish her well. The
Kindergarten teacher team will be delivering it to her soon. Thank you for your concern and donations to
her!
Our turkeys are SOOOO creative!!! Please cut them out before you bring them! We can't wait for you to see them when you come at parent conferences!

·
Our Denim & Diamonds Auction is THIS
Saturday, the 15th. The
Kindergarteners have all participated in making two beautiful, handmade
Christmas tree skirts, which are currently displayed in the office. These will be auctioned off at the auction.
·
BABYSITTING!!!! The Kindergarten teachers have teamed up to
offer our babysitting services for one night, to one lucky auction winner! If you are attending the Auction, you can
bid on this item! We can’t wait to
spend a fun evening with the lucky winners!
·
Holiday Tree Donations—Thank
you for all of your classroom donations!
We hope to raise lots of money for our kiddos at the Holiday Fair on
Saturday, December 6th from 10am-2pm. Santa will be there!
·
Canned Food Drive—Student
council is collecting canned and boxed foods for local families who are less
fortunate. Please consider donating!
·
We are continuing our theme of
TURKEYS, and our new word wall word is “you”.
We know the following High Frequency Words: I, a, like,
the, see, is, can, my, and, have, go, to, has & you. Please encourage your child to use
these words in their writing every day!
Thank you again for all that you do at home to
support your child’s learning. We
appreciate all that you do! Please feel
free to email with any concerns or questions!
Thank you!!
