·        Binders!!! We still have several children that have not given us a 2” three ring binder with a clear plastic sleeve cover. We are filling these binders with your child’s beautiful art projects done throughout the year. If you have not yet given us one, please do so ASAP. Thank you.

·        Our theme for next week is Butterflies & Bugs.  Our new word wall word is “your.”  We now know the following words:  I, like, see, a, is, the, can, my, and, have, go, to, has, am, look, are, saw, went, with, up, they, do, but, & will.

·        Library reminder- Please help your child to remember to bring in his/her library book BEFORE Fridays. We need to return them before our library checkout day.

Please have your child write at least two sentences about something they have eaten at home, school or restaurant and what it tastes like. Our goal now is to have the kids choose one topic and elaborate on it, and really describing the experience.  For example ”Today my mom took me out for frozen yogurt. I picked vanilla yogurt with blueberries on top. The yogurt tasted cold and soft in my mouth. The blueberries squirted juice when I ate them.”  (in Kindergarten spelling/writing of course). We are encouraging LOTS of writing that all goes together!
